At CanadaPak Technologies, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something isn't right, our 7-day return policy ensures a hassle-free experience. This policy outlines everything you need to know about returning or exchanging products purchased from our store.

1. Our Return Policy at a Glance

7-Day Return Window: You have 7 calendar days from the date of delivery to initiate a return or exchange. After this period, unfortunately we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

We stand behind the quality of every product we sell — from DDR5 laptop RAM and high-speed SSDs to server-grade ECC memory. If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, we will make it right promptly.

2. Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for a return or exchange, items must meet the following conditions:

  • Timeframe: Return request must be initiated within 7 days of delivery
  • Condition: Product must be in its original condition — unused, uninstalled, and free of physical damage
  • Packaging: All original packaging, manuals, accessories, and protective materials must be included
  • Proof of Purchase: A valid order number, receipt, or invoice is required
  • Sealed Products: For software or sealed components, the seal must be intact

Note: Products showing signs of improper installation, physical damage, electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage, or misuse are not eligible for return.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive defective or damaged:

  • Custom-configured or special-order server memory kits
  • Software licenses or digital product keys that have been activated
  • Clearance or final sale items marked as non-returnable
  • Products with removed or tampered serial numbers or warranty stickers
  • Gift cards and promotional vouchers

4. How to Initiate a Return

Follow these simple steps to return or exchange your product:

Contact Us

Email us at info@canadapaktechnologies.com or call our support line. Provide your order number and reason for return.

Receive Authorization

Our team will review your request and issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within 1-2 business days.

Ship the Item Back

Securely pack the product with all accessories. Write the RMA number clearly on the package and ship to our designated address.

Inspection & Resolution

Once received, we inspect the item within 3-5 business days. Approved returns are refunded or exchanged promptly.

Important: Do not ship items back without an RMA number. Unauthorized returns may be rejected or experience significant processing delays.

5. Refunds

Once your return is approved after inspection, refunds are processed as follows:

  • Payment Method: Refund will be issued to the original payment method used during purchase
  • Processing Time: Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider
  • Refund Amount: The product price will be fully refunded. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (defective, damaged, or incorrect item)
  • Partial Refunds: Items returned with missing accessories, damaged packaging, or signs of use may receive a partial refund at our discretion

6. Exchanges

If you received a defective or incorrect product, we offer a straightforward exchange process:

  • Same Item Replacement: If the exact product is in stock, we will ship a replacement within 2-3 business days after receiving and inspecting your return
  • Different Product: Want to upgrade to a higher capacity RAM kit or a faster SSD? Contact us to arrange an exchange with price adjustment
  • Out of Stock Items: If the replacement item is unavailable, you may choose an alternative product of equal value or receive a full refund
  • Shipping on Exchanges: We cover return shipping for defective or incorrect items. For voluntary exchanges, return shipping is the customer's responsibility

7. Return Shipping

Shipping responsibility depends on the reason for return:

  • Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items: CanadaPak Technologies covers all return shipping costs. We will provide a prepaid shipping label or reimburse reasonable shipping expenses
  • Change of Mind or Buyer's Remorse: Return shipping is at the customer's expense. We recommend using a trackable shipping service with insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items
  • International Returns: For our international customers, return shipping arrangements will be communicated during the RMA process. Any customs duties or taxes on returned items are the responsibility of the sender

8. Damaged or Lost Packages

We take great care in packaging your tech for safe delivery. However, if issues arise:

  • Visible Damage on Delivery: Inspect the package upon arrival. If the box shows significant damage, please document it with photos and refuse delivery if possible. Contact us immediately
  • Concealed Damage: If the product itself is damaged despite intact packaging, notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence
  • Lost Packages: If your order is lost in transit, we will work with the carrier to locate it or send a replacement once the claim is confirmed

9. Warranty Information

Beyond our 7-day return window, most products are covered by manufacturer warranties. Key details:

  • RAM Modules (ADATA, Samsung, SK Hynix, Crucial, Cisco): Typically covered by 3-year to limited lifetime manufacturer warranties
  • SSDs (Crucial BX500 and others): Usually covered by 3-5 year manufacturer warranties
  • Warranty Claims: After the return period, warranty claims are handled directly through the manufacturer. We are happy to assist with contact information and guidance
